I'm convinced the good people of Seattle are lying to build up its reputation as a dark and rainy place in order to keep the population down. It was stunning over three December days where the weather was perfect and people were warm. 

Flowers from 6 continents. Ok, ok… the greenery around the baby penguin isn’t technically a flower but its the only photo I have without snow or rock in it. Note: the Corpse flower was taken inside the DC Botanical Garden, the flower only blooms every 8 years for roughly 24 hours, and it smells… terrible.

This mountainous region of the Eastern U.S. breathes Americana. When you go, drive slow and take pictures. 

From the top of Table Mountain in Cape Town to a rugged safari in Kruger National Park, South Africa presents an abundance of life enthusiasm and forward looking hope.
